Thank you for entering our show. We hope you enjoy your time in Flagstaff!
Things to be aware of for the weekend:
We are sharing the property with a large roping event. They’ll be in the Posse arena but we’ll be sharing the barn area and Ro & Jo with them. Ro and Jo will be located at the Posse arena.
We’ll be using most of the same barns as last year and we’ll be warming up on the track. We’ll have one show ring in the Grandstand area and one to the east of that. This makes watering and dragging the arenas simpler and should cause less disruption to your warm up. It will also be easier for trainers with multiple students.
Lunging will be in the oval arena in the infield.
Our barn manager is Tanya Missureli. Her cell number is 602 616-5727. Please contact her for any questions regarding stall assignments or with any requests pertaining to early arrivals or delayed departures.
Shavings – Your stalls will not be pre bedded and your entry fees did not include any shavings. Many of you have paid for shavings on your entry or have contacted the show office to order. If not, you will need to either bring your own shavings or purchase shavings directly from Tanya. Should you decide to purchase shavings from Tanya, be aware that you’ll need to pick them up from where they’re stored. Shavings will be $10/bag. Cash or check. No credit cards.
Dumpsters – There will be a large dumpster for manure and a smaller dumpster for trash. Please do not place trash in the large dumpster. Doing so doubles the cost to ADA for manure disposal.
Volunteers – Kathy Smith has bravely offered to be our Volunteer Coordinator again this year. Please consider offering a few hours of your time. Kathy’s number is 623 570-5991.
CLASS SPONSORSHIP: If you would like to help out our organization by sponsoring a class for $50 please let us know when you check in. We appreciate your support.
The office will be open Friday, August 12th from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM for check in. If you are bringing an RV – please call ahead to the fairgrounds at 928 779-1762.
Wine and Cheese Party!
We’ll be having a wine and cheese get together under the Grandstands Friday afternoon. It’s in conjunction with an educational event sponsored by Cave Creek Equine and Dr. Martin Vidal.
