Use the form below to apply for this Junior Rider Scholarship but disregard the standard requirements. Junior Rider Scholarship Deadline is April 30, 2020. Volunteerism for this scholarship is waived. Post-scholarship request: Please write a letter to the Centerline editor ([email protected]) outlining how you used your scholarship and what you learned from your education experience. Photos also welcomed and encouraged! Fill out the following fields on this form:

  • Please Be Sure you Meet ALL Scholarship Criteria Before Submission

    * Current ADA Membership Required * Open/AA's need 3 years of membership PLUS Active Volunteerism and/or Service to the organization * JRYR's need current membership and Volunteerism * Former Scholarship Winners may not apply for three years * Scholarship is not transferable to another individual or to a future award year * If unforeseen circumstances arise and the educational activity needs to be changed, a request for the change must be submitted to the Scholarship Review Committee.
  • Deadline: February 1st of each Membership Year

    Late applications will NOT be considered.

    * Former Scholarship Winners may not apply for three (3) years
    * Scholarship is not transferable to another individual or to a future award year
    * If unforeseen circumstances arise and the educational activity needs to be changed, a request for the change must be submitted to the Scholarship Review Committee.
    * ADA is not responsible for applications not received due to delayed mail, wrong address, incomplete website submission, etc.

    Once the training is completed, the scholarship recipient agrees to volunteer at a future date their time and/or expertise in some way that will benefit the ADA membership as a whole. Suggestions include composing an article for publication in the GMO Newsletter, The Centerline, detailing the educational experience, providing a host venue for an ADA event, organizing a clinic or fundraising event for JR/YRs, complimentary judging at an ADA event, etc.
