Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of the Arizona Dressage Association. Every show, clinic, and event depends on the time, energy, and dedication of individuals who generously give back to the sport they love. From helping with setup and scribing to greeting riders and managing ribbons, there is a role for everyone—no experience necessary. Volunteering is a fun and rewarding way to connect with fellow members, learn more about dressage, and support the success of our community. Whether you can give a few hours or a full day, your involvement makes a real difference.
Volunteer with us
Volunteering with the Arizona Dressage Association is a meaningful and hands-on way to support the dressage community while gaining a deeper understanding of the sport. Whether you are a seasoned competitor, a new member, or simply passionate about horses, there are countless ways to get involved. Volunteers are essential to the success of every ADA event, from schooling shows to recognized competitions and educational clinics. Roles include scribing for judges, helping with arena setup, running tests, organizing hospitality, and more.
No prior experience is needed, we’ll provide training, guidance, and a warm welcome. In return, volunteers often enjoy behind-the-scenes access, opportunities to learn from top professionals, and the chance to connect with fellow riders and horse lovers. Many of our most dedicated members started as volunteers and found their place in the heart of the ADA community. Join us in making each event run smoothly, creating memorable experiences for others, and keeping Arizona dressage strong. We couldn’t do it without you.
Volunteering with ADA
The Arizona Dressage Association depends on volunteers to help us host well-run, enjoyable events throughout the year. From schooling shows to recognized competitions and educational clinics, every ADA event relies on dedicated individuals who offer their time and support. Volunteering provides free entry to paid ADA events, fulfills service requirements for year-end awards, and makes you eligible for scholarships and travel grants. Most importantly, you gain valuable experience, meet fellow dressage enthusiasts, and contribute to the growth of our community. Whether you have a few hours or a full day to give, your help is welcome. If you are a competitor, we will gladly work around your ride schedule.
No Experience Needed
You do not need to be an ADA member to volunteer, and we are happy to provide training. If you enjoy being around horses and want to get involved, we would love to have your support. To sign up, please email our Volunteer Signup Coordinator at volunteer@azdressage.org.
